Diversity Hair Care was founded by licensed cosmetologist and educator Fatima Miles to bridge the gap between culture, confidence, and care.
What began as community support for families navigating textured hair care has grown into a mentorship and workforce development initiative serving justice-involved youth, foster families, schools, and underserved communities throughout Los Angeles County.
Through culturally inclusive education, self care, and career exposure opportunities, Diversity Hair Care helps participants build confidence, professionalism, personal growth, and cultural connection in supportive learning environments.
